The Institute for Ecology of
Industrial Areas is situated in Katowice-Załęże (map).
You can get to IETU by tram or by bus,
which leave from the Katowice Central Railway Station. If you decide
to go by tram you should take trams number 7,

(direction: Chorzów). You must get
off at the 6th tram stop (Katowice-Załęże,
Lisa). You can also take a
bus number 193,

which leave from a bus stop number 2
situated in front of the Central Railway Station (under the stairs)
and get off at the last stop, or - go by bus number 115
and get off at the bus stop: Osiedle Witosa II.
Train
connections from Warsaw to Katowice
are fast and very convenient, you can take express, InterCity or
EuroCity trains.
There is also an international airport in Pyrzowice, which is
situated 40 km from Katowice. From the airport you can take special
airway buses or a taxi to get to the centre.
