POLEKO 2005: International Ecological Fair [added 16.08.2005]

Dear Members,
ENVITECH-Net will be present at the 2005 edition of POLEKO - Poland's most important International Ecological Fair. The fair will take place on the days of 15-18 November 2005. It will be accompanied by specialist conferences and seminars, as well as less formal shows, exhibitions and meetings. POLEKO is aimed to serve as a bridge between the Europe of the East and West facilitating establishing contacts and working relationships for Polish as well as foreign organizations, entrepreneurs and visitors.
One of the new POLEKO events is the Exhibition "Science for Environment". That will be accompanied, among others, by:

• Conference "Eco-innovations as an Opportunity for Polish Economy" organized jointly by ENVITECH-Net and the Polish National Contact Point for EU Research Programmes within the Series "Bank of Environmental Technology Opportunities".
• Poster Session during which research organizations will have an opportunity to present their research outcomes solutions and technologies in the following areas:
• Technologies and equipment for water protection,
• Technologies and equipment for soil protection,
• Technologies and equipment for air protection,
• Monitoring and control equipment for measuring pollution levels, noise and vibration,
• Control and management of industrial, municipal and chemical wastes,
• Energy including renewable sources,
• Industrial and energy production constructions,
• Environmental management.

Moreover, ENVITECH-Net will have its own stand that will be dedicated to promotion of the network's research potential. Therefore we would like you to benefit from SPECIAL CONDITIONS for participation in POLEKO 2005 exclusive only to ENVITECH-Net members including:

• Free of charge exhibition package for the Poster Session:
• space for one poster (format A0 vertical, dimensions: 841mm x 1189mm), poster description in the POLEKO
• catalogue and waiver from the fair ticket.

The topic of the poster should be related to the above mentioned areas, it must present a specific solution or technology indicating an innovative approach to the addressed problem. All interested foreign Members should fill in the application form together with a one page poster abstract prepared according to the instructions enclosed in the abstract proposers instructions and send it to the ENVITECH-Net Coordination Office by e-mail (office@envitech-net.org) or by fax to + 48.32.254.17.17 before 18 September 2005. The abstracts will be then revised, successful applicants will be notified by e-mail, list of the accepted posters is available for download here.
Upon accepting, not later than on 3 October 2005, the authors will be requested to prepare poster description in English and possibly in German for the catalogue according to catalogue standards (about 900 characters incl. title and authors ). Presenting authors will be responsible for mounting and dismounting the posters as well as participation during the poster session hours to provide information on the posters.


• Free of charge space for a poster presentation of your organisation and its potential at ENVITECH-Net stand (format A1, horizontal, 841 mm x 594 mm)
• Presentation of reference materials from your organization submitted to us together with the poster.

Member Organizations will be responsible for printing and shipping the posters and other reference materials before 7 November 2005 under the following address:

Only A1 vertical posters will be accepted due to exhibition space limitations at the stand.

Additionally, an open meeting of the Polish Technology Platform for Environment will be held during the fairs.
